Euro 2020 Final Tournament Schedule

The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, or simply Euro 2020, is scheduled to be held in 12 cities in 12 European Countries. Start from 12 June 2020, it is the first time that there are 12 countries will become hosts for this four yearly event. It means, the probability of host country to become a winner for this tournament is getting bigger. They are 12 countries, aren’t they?

Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, Euro 2020 Final Tournament Schedule has been postponed to year 2021. We are still waiting any updates from UEFA regarding all remaining playoff matches schedule. Also, all fixtures and venues might be adjusted. We will update the spreadsheet once official information are released.

You can find official Euro 2020 schedule in UEFA.com official site. But, if you are looking for a schedule with Excel of Googlesheets format, you can get it below. There are formulas inside that spreadsheet that will help you automate group standing arrangement. You know, the tie breaker regulation for this Euro 2020 final tournament is very complicated. Not to mention the drawing is also complicated. But, it is easier to manage, though.

There are 6 groups. Each group consists of 4 teams. 24 teams will fight for 16 places in knock out rounds. The tie breaker will regulate group standings. Two top teams from each group plus 4 best 3rd-placed teams will advance.

Those 24 teams are: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Wales.

Still there are several playoff matches to determine remaining four teams.

Use this template as scoresheet. Update the score by typing scores inside respective score fields. You don’t have to worry about adjusting their ranks. It is automatic. Also, you can play with this spreadsheet before filling them with actual scores. Especially when there is one match left for each team in each group where final results does matter.

There are one worksheet for group matches and one worksheet for knock out round matches.

Type prediction or actual scores in white boxes next to country names. Repeat above steps until you fill all group matches score fields. Group standings will be adjusted accordingly

Excel formulas will place 16 teams who will advance to the second round automatically.

In the knock out round, do similar steps. Do not have to worry about putting them on correct brackets. There are Excel formulas in those brackets.

Euro 2020 champion, that should be crowned by 12th July, should be shown in Champion box.
